Yesterday (17 November 2025), K-Mile Air, represented by Mr. Pansith Sasunee, Managing Director, joined the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) and representatives from eight Thai airlines in signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote the development and use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) in Thailand.
This collaborative initiative marks a significant milestone in driving the Thai aviation industry toward greener and more sustainable operations. By working together, the participating airlines and CAAT aim to accelerate the adoption of SAF and align Thailand’s aviation sector with global environmental standards.
The MOU supports Thailand’s commitment to international sustainability goals, including the emissions-reduction mandates set by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA), both of which target achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. Increasing the availability and use of SAF is recognized as one of the most impactful pathways to reducing aviation-related greenhouse gas emissions.
The signing ceremony represents K-Mile Air’s strong commitment to being an active contributor in shaping a more sustainable future for Thailand’s aviation industry. Through this partnership, the airline reaffirms its dedication to environmental stewardship and to supporting the long-term development of a robust SAF ecosystem in the country.
